Without this certification, If the manufacturer finds deficient or poor workmanship to be at fault for your roof issues your warranty will not be honored.
2. Are You Able to Partner with National Banks like Wells Fargo and Others to Offer Top Tier Financing?
There can be many problems associated with companies that only offer financing through obscure lenders that no one ever heard of. Beware of contractors who can only offer financing through unreliable lenders offering questionable programs.
3. Are You Class A, B, or C?
The state uses testing, experience and working capital to determine the class of each business. Typically companies who have taken less testing, less experience and also lack the financial backing present a higher risk to the consumer.
4. Do You Have Liability and Workmans Compensation Insurance?
These items are a must to protect you against accidents and issues that take place on your property. They are a must. Demand them.
5. How Long Have You Been In Business?
Simple question but more important than you might think. Most companies fail in the first five years which means often you'll be on your own in most cases if you do business with a company with no longevity. Beyond that there's a sense of desperation with many new companies overpromising and under delivering. Often having only 10 to 15 reviews and many of those being friends and acquaintances used to manipulate rankings and not individuals they've actually done business with.
6. Most Importantly, Do You Have a Low Price Guarantee?
While having insurance, warrantees, and financing is all important they must be done with fair and honest pricing. A roof that you can't afford to install won't solve your issues.
